Our Background
Len & Dawn Larson
Premier Restoration Services (PRS) in Joliet, Illinois, is a privately owned business led by co-owners Dawn and Len Larsen. Having spent our entire lives in the community we serve, we are deeply committed to helping our neighbors recover from unexpected disasters.
In 2006, we made a life-changing decision to leave our careers in business and healthcare to pursue restoration contracting. Understanding the importance of expertise in this industry, we dedicated 15 months to learning how to run a business while earning IICRC certifications in water, fire, smoke, and odor remediation. Additionally, we became trained Xactimate estimators for all major insurance carriers, equipping us with the skills necessary to navigate the complex world of insurance claims.
To gain hands-on experience, we spent a year working alongside a full-service restoration contractor, immersing ourselves in every role to fully understand the operation from all perspectives. With this foundation, we returned home and built PRS from the ground up, determined to provide exceptional restoration services to our community

For over 17 years, PRS has taken on restoration projects of all sizes, from small residential water cleanups to multi-million-dollar residential and commercial rebuilds. We have restored homes from the ground up while also handling the packing, cleaning, and restoration of our customers’ belongings.
We believe that being restoration contractors is the most rewarding career possible. Our mission is to restore homes and businesses to their pre-loss condition with expertise and efficiency. As preferred vendors for major insurance carriers nationwide, we guide our customers through the often complex and overwhelming claims process, ensuring they receive the support they need every step of the way.
